Logo - Reflect & Recharge

Revitalise your mind and your mood

Reflect and Recharge courses offer you all the benefits of a traditional short-break or retreat plus the additional bonus of a challenging personal development course. As a result, you will return home not only with renewed mental and emotional energy but also a motivating action plan. Gael has been leading similar courses in Spain for several years and has received many testimonials that prove that this kind of experience can be life-changing, fun and also the foundation for life-long friendships.

At £295 each these courses are exceedingly good value as a similar amount of time with such highly experienced consultants would cost almost twice the price in London. On certain courses when the number of participants exceeds four, Gael will be joined by the guest consultant who is profiled for the course. This means that you can always be assured of high quality individual attention.

In between your sessions and self-help assignments, you will, of course, be able to re-energise or relax your body on Rota’s beautiful beaches and doing this will enable you to think more creatively and clearly. This means you will have both the physical benefits of an activity holdiay plus the psychological ones of a retreat. Another plus is that many people also establish mutually supportive friendships with other participants which continue after the course. So you can return home with not only an inspiring action plan but also new friends to help you see it through.

Our location

The courses are held in Rota, a small historic town on the Costa de la Luz in southern Spain. Rota is situated in the Bay of Cadiz and is surrounded by 16km of beautiful sandy beaches.  Because of its temperate climate (ranging from average of 15 – 35º) and its invigorating Atlantic sea air, it attracts many tourists (mostly from within Spain) in July and August.  Out of this high season (when our courses take place) it functions as a typical lively Andalusian small town. It has a strong sense of community and life-balance is taken very seriously. So on some of our courses you will find yourself in the midst one of its many traditional festivals.

Course content and programmes

Each course lasts from Friday morning through to Sunday afternoon.  The programme varies with each individual course as they are planned when we have assessed each particular group’s needs. Most will offer a mixture of 1-1 sessions plus some creative group work.

All courses will also involve participants doing some self-help assignments in between sessions but there will also be plenty of time to reflect and relax. Social activities will be arranged informally by participants and you can choose to join in on as many or as few as you like.

Accommodation and food

You will stay in a hotel of your choice in the town which is only ever a few minutes walk from one of the beautiful beaches. We will provide you with contact details of our recommended list of hotels ranging from a luxurious 4 star to small budget hotels at around only 60 euros per night.  Rota has many excellent and very reasonably priced restaurants and small tapas bars. The fish is particularly fresh and superb as fishing is one of the town’s principle industries.
